Victorian Home, Balham

This stunning Victorian home exudes quiet glamour, characterized by a rich palette of dark woods, luxurious bronze detailing, and a subtle interplay of textures. Our bespoke joinery pieces were meticulously designed to complement the property's generous proportions, cleverly reconfigured by Sandoval Architects. A highlight is the striking "storage cube" featuring a cosy reading nook, which adds a unique architectural element to the lower ground floor and lightwell.

Furthermore, an integrated study, a luxurious dressing room, a dedicated wine store, and a bespoke kitchen were thoughtfully designed to maximise space and cater to the needs of this growing family who enjoy both entertaining and cooking together.

As a busy family with lively children, Victoria understood our need to maximise storage opportunities whilst creating a stylish and calm space where we could both relax and entertain. Victoria’s furniture designs integrated well into our overall aesthetic - her close collaboration with our architect meant that the choice of palette and finishes is coherent throughout the whole property, from basement family room to the loft bedroom. We now have a house that not only looks exceptionally stylish but also works really well as a family home. Working with Victoria was a pleasure - we found her imaginative and responsive to our requirements and comments: we would certainly recommend Victoria for future design work.
