Hay House, Clapham

Collaborating with Sandoval Architects, we sought to create an industrial minimalist aesthetic for Hay House. Bespoke black steelwork used throughout the joinery echoes the graphic lines of the crittall glazing, bringing the Architecture firmly into the interior. Warm, light wood veneers, plush velvets and areas of subtle colour soften the look. Key features include a hidden bar, integrated study with floating desk, a large steel credenza and a Scandinavian-inspired bespoke kitchen. Bringing together natural and industrial materials, the furnishings sit beautifully within the interior, and benefit from the ever-changing angles of natural light.

Victoria was great to work with on our project. She delivered an end product that pulled together the various requirements we had and struck a careful balance between allowing us to run away with our thinking and ensuring the individual design details came together as a whole. Victoria not only presented colours and shapes we’d not thought about but would be equally enthused by styles we’d found she’s perhaps not used before. We felt that we could be open and honest with Victoria about what we like and dislike, and she really took that on board to create a series of designs that we absolutely love.
